Haryana: Principal stripped, dragged, publicly beaten for sexually assaulting school girl

A principal of a private school in Fatehabad district in Haryana was arrested after the family of a girl studying in the school alleged that they caught him red-handed while sexually assaulting the girl in the school. The principal was dragged and beaten in public while being taken to Bhuna police station where he was handed over to the police. A Fatehabad court ordered one-day police remand for the principal who faces accusations of molesting a girl student. Police are also investigating allegations made by some students accusing the principal of sexually harassment. The parents have lodged a formal complaint and the police has booked the attempt to rape case and under various provisions of POSCO Act.
