Located in Gulzarbagh area in Patna, this cemetery built in October 1763 is considered to be the oldest Christian graveyard in the city. It houses the graves of almost 80 Englishmen who died while fighting against the army of Mir Qasim, the Nawab of Bengal in 18th century. Suneel Kumar is a Hindu but looks after this Christian graveyard and keeps it clean. He says doing so gives him peace. Cleaning up of the area and lighting of candles here by Suneel also showcases his belief in interfaith harmony and brotherhood. Many Christians have appreciated his efforts.
