India is a role model in area of space applications: ISRO chief

Chief of the Indian Space Research Organization, K. Radhakrishnan has said that India has emerged as a role model for the whole world in the area of space applications due to innovation, which is also the key driver of sustained growth in an organization. Addressing an audience in the national capital, Radhakrishnan said that India has created space technology to benefit its people in the long run. He added that to facilitate sustainable growth India should well tap its space innovation by developing close industry tie-ups.
