India need 251 on final day against Chairman’s XI

In the first tour warm-up match in Canberra, India are chasing a target of 399 runs on the final day. The visitors have lost 3 wickets and still need 251 runs to win. Sachin Tendulkar is closing in on his fifty. VVS Laxman is the other batsman in the middle. Earlier, the Indian bowlers had a tough first day in the opening tour game against Australian Chairman's XI in Canberra on Thursday. The local team frustrated the Indians with opener Wes Robinson and Tom Cooper cracking big hundreds CA Chairman declared at 398 for 6 at stumps. Robinson scored 143 runs while Cooper remained unbeaten on 182.
