India's Bombay Stock Exchange's sensitive index, Sensex surged as the market opened on Tuesday following strong gains in overseas markets. At 11:35 am, Sensex was up by 4.63 per cent. National Stock Exchange's 50-share Nifty was also up by 3.90 per cent. Traders said a revival in foreign fund inflows was needed for the gains to be sustained. But many investors expect that the market would witness small upward trends in the bullish regime for another 6-7 months.
