Indian women hockey team draw Olympic qualifier

The qualifying campaign of the Indian women hockey team for the 2012 London Games got off to a shaky start after they played out a 1-1 draw against Ukraine at the National Stadium in New Delhi. Disappointed with his team's performance, Indian coach Chidambaram Kumar said that the decision to cancel the penalty corner was wrong and said that he planned to file an official complaint. The coach however expressed hope for better performance in future.
