Updated on Aug 22, 2011 09:29 pm IST

People across Indian have been carrying out unique demonstrations in support of veteran activist Anna Hazare, whose hunger strike against corruption entered seventh day today. While there have been supporters copying hairstyle of Hazare, others have been more typical by donning Gandhian caps reading 'I am Anna'. One of the many unusual protests came through when several drum players and percussionists gathered in Pune on Sunday to play resounding beats for the government of India to wake up it from deep "slumber". While the word 'corruption' may only come in an adults' dictionary, tiny tots in Udaipur still skated their way through in support for Hazare. The skating rally by children gave hope to onlookers that a strong effective anti-graft bill was on its way. Meanwhile, around 50 youngsters in Gaya carried out their demonstration through 'Pind Daan', a ritual performed for the salvation of ancestors' souls, implying the soul of India getting rid of the evil of corruption.
