Jayalalithaa to go on fast on Cauvery issue

AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa will observe a day-long fast in chennai today, demanding that the Centre should notify immediately the Cauvery water dispute tribunal`s February 5 final award. For the second time in her political career, Jayalalithaa, along with her supporters, would observe fast in front of Valluvar Kottam, a memorial for Tamil saint-poet Tiruvalluvar in the heart of the city. She would be felicitated by leaders of her alliance parties during her protest which will begin at 9 am and will continue till 5 pm.
