Kalmadi, Bhanot hampering CWG probe: CBI
Updated on Dec 15, 2010 08:24 pm IST
More troubles seem to be on the way for beleaguered Commonwealth Games Organising committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi and his close aide OC Secretary General Lalit Bhanot as the CBI has alleged that they are hampering the ongoing CWG probe that was set up to look into the corruption in the games. Reportedly, in a letter sent to Cabinet Secretary K. M. Chandrashekar last week, CBI has said that continuance of Kalmadi and Bhanot is proving to be an impediment in the enquiry, though the officials in Cabinet Secretariat are believed to have taken no decision on CBI request.
