Kalmadi's aides sacked, SMAM's contract terminated

Consequent to charges of corruption in the execution of several Commonwealth Games related projects, the Organising Committee, besides accepting the Anil Khanna, the Treasurer of the CGOG and reappointing senior administrator Ashok Kumar Mattoo to the post, also terminated the contract of an Australian sports management firm SMAM (Sports Marketing and Management Private Limited) on charges that the firm had not fulfilled its obligations after receiving $US10 million.
