Kasab escaped from firing due to mechanical fault

Trial of Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving gunman from last year's Mumbai attack continued before a special court in Mumbai on Friday. Chief public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam told reporters that Kasab escaped getting hurt when a mechanical defect prevented police constable Nadelkar from firing at him.
