The execution of Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving gunman from 2008 Mumbai attacks, has triggered celebrations across India, with people distributing sweets and bursting crackers. India hanged Kasab at the Yerwada Prison today in Pune. An emotional co-owner of Mumbai's iconic Cafe Leopold, Farzad Jehani recalled the tragic night of 26/11, asserting that no amount of executions could change the fate of the victims of the incident.
