A semblance of calm in Kashmir was seen today on the second day of curfew imposed by the state government in parts of northern and southern Kashmir, including Srinagar. State police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel have been deployed across Srinagar city and major curfew-affected towns. While an creepy calm prevailed in the valley, the prolonged curfew is posing problems to the locals who say they are struggling to get even grocery.
