Kin of plane crash victims arrive from Dubai to identify, claim bodies

Relatives of Mangalore Air India Express plane crash victims today arrived in India from Dubai identify and claim the remains of their loved ones. The Air India Express aircraft crashed outside the airport in Mangalore around 6:30 am, killing 158 people when it burst into flames after it overshot the table-top runway and plunged into the forest below. Distraught relatives from Dubai arrived in Bangalore city by air and took a bus to Mangalore as the operations in the city were severely disrupted in the wake of the crash.
