The price rise issue rocked the Indian Parliament on April 15 and the Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian Parliament, was adjourned over the issue. Members of the BJP along with its allies in the NDA and the Leftists were up on their feet to protest over price rise since the very beginning of House's day's proceedings. They chanted slogans like Joh sarkar nikaami hai, woh sarkar badalni hai (meaning we have to change the incompetent government).
