Maoists create havoc in Bihar, Jharkhand

Maoists killed a truck driver and set ablaze nine trucks in Gaya district of Bihar state on Wednesday. The attack was held just a day before the second phase of polling in the country. This attack is yet another attempt by the rebels to disrupt the elections. According to reports, around 100-armed Maoists stopped the trucks plying on the Grand Trunk road highway at gunpoint and torched nine vehicles near Barachatti in Gaya.
