Maoists now target banks to hamper infrastructural growth

After railways,roadways,telephone towers and schools,Maoists have now targeted banks,to hamper infrastructural growth across Indian states. After looting State Bank of India branch in Orissa's Koraput district and another in West Bengals West Midnapore in 2009,the rebels struck at SBI's Khadigram branch in Jamui district of Bihar on June 15 this year.They looted around Rupees 92,000. Later,they set the building on fire.Over 50 ultras surrounded the branch and detonated a dynamite to blow up the building.
