Mayawati suspends rape-accused Pushottam Narain Dwivedi

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati on Sunday suspended Pushottam Narain Dwivedi, rape-accused legislator from Bahujan Samaj Party, till the investigations are over. The cabinet secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Shashank Shekhar Singh, informed about the proceedings while addressing a press conference in Lucknow. Singh also claimed that the BSP hasn't spared its Ministers, lawmakers and legislators who have indulged in illegal activities.
