Mexico FM calls on Indian PM, addresses meet on climate change

Mexico Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa Castellano, presently on a visit to India, after meeting with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, while addressing a session of symposium, 'India-Mexico Dialogue towards Cancun' in New Delhi on Monday said that India has a major role on this topic. Castellano provided an insight into Mexico's views on the negotiations as the host of COP16 (Conference of Parties) convened under The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC or FCCC). She also extended an opportunity for industrialists to have direct interface with her to convey their expectations and concern with respect to the climate change negotiations.
