Mirwaiz seeks Human Rights' intervention in custodial killing

Separatist leader and chairman of moderate faction-All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, turned to the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) to look into the alleged human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir. Farooq, who has been given house arrest by the state authorities along with other Hurriyat leaders, said the government officials provoked the public to disrupt normalcy in the region by indulging in activities like custodial killing and other atrocities.
