The New Year could well see your mobile bill coming down. According to officials, the telecom ministry will soon be initiating a review of phone tariffs, which will be lower the cost of text messages and local calls. This addition might also see a steep fall in roaming charges. Sources said, Raja has asked his department to approach the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on the issue of slashing telecom tariffs.
