With BJP's national executive starting in the national capital on Friday, speculations about the growing rift between the party's senior leaders, LK Advani and Narendra Modi, have gained momentum. After his decision to stay away from Advani's rath yatra beginning October 11, Modi has also decided to skip the executive meet. The Gujarat chief's moves have certainly indicated growing differences between the two leaders. However, the party has denied any such rift. While Modi has cited Navratra fast as the reason for his absence from the national executive, sources say that he is unhappy with Advani's yatra for good governance and clean politics.
