Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, India's Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswamy announced the dates for polls in northeastern states of Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya. Polls in these states are to be held in February-March. The term for assembly of Meghalaya ends on March 10, while of Tripura on March 19 and of Nagaland, where federal or President's rule was imposed earlier this month, comes to an end on March 13.
