Narasimha Rao’s son denies his father’s role in Anderson’s escape
P V Ranga Rao, son of India's former Prime Minister Narasimha Rao, on Friday refuted allegations made by former foreign secretary M. K. Rasgotra that his father was involved in granting a go-ahead to Warren Anderson, and termed the statement unnecessary and unfair. However, he said that the Group of Ministers (GoM) would take stock of the whole situation and submit its report to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh within the next ten days.
