New Delhi and Dhaka to ink 5 pacts during Hasina’s visit to India

Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao on Sunday said that New Delhi and Dhaka are set to sign five agreements, including one on combating international terrorism. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina began her three-day visit later on Sunday. Rao said Hasina would hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday. Meanwhile, Rao informed that the Bangladesh Prime Minister will be conferred with the prestigious Indira Gandhi prize for peace, disarmament and development for 2009 on Tuesday.
