No voting rights for Muslims against birth control: BJP's Sakshi Maharaj
Updated on Apr 13, 2015 03:28 pm IST
In yet another controversial remark, BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj has said that Muslims avoiding sterilization should not be given the right to vote. The BJP MP added that his four children remark made headlines, but nobody is concerned about Muslims who have four wives and go on to have forty children. Maharaj also endorsed Shiv Sena Sanjay Raut's stand that the voting rights of Muslims should be revoked for some years to ensure the community is not used for vote bank politics.
