Norway child abuse row: Indian couple convicted

An Oslo court on Tuesday convicted Chandrasekhar Vallabhaneni to 18 months and his wife Anupama to 15 months in prison for allegedly abusing their child. According to a statement by Oslo Police Department, the couple have been charged with gross repeated maltreatment of their child/children by threats, violence or other wrong under section 219 of the Penal Code.
