Parliament again adjourned over JPC demand

Both Houses of Parliament were on Friday adjourned till Monday after opposition continued to create uproar over demand for a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe into the 2G spectrum scam. Opposition members, including the BJP and its allies, the Left parties, Samajwadi Party and AIADMK shouted slogans in both the houses for a JPC and a clarification from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the scam, that includes improper allocation of 2G frequencies to telecom companies by A Raja that is estimated to have cost the exchequer Rs 176,000 crore.
