Petrol prices hiked by Rs 1.40 per litre

Petrol prices have increased by Rs 1.40 per litre excluding local taxes, due to rise in international oil prices and depreciation in rupee. The hike comes into effect from Saturday. The BJP has condemned this hike after the Union Budget and demanded an immediate rollback.
