Politics to the fore as Rahul Gandhi opens a revived steel plant

Scion of the Nehru-Gandhi family and general secretary of the congress party, Rahul Gandhi has vowed to make his constituency stand out as the best in politically crucial Uttar Pradesh as he graced the reopening of a sick steel plant in the state on Friday. Gandhi opened Malvika Steel, a sick steel plant, in his parliamentary constituency, Amethi on Friday. He said that reopening of the plant, which shut down in early 1998, was his dream.
