Saradha Group chairman and managing director Sudipta Sen and two other accused were on Thursday brought to a Kolkata court in the wake of the Ponzi fund fiasco. Meanwhile, there were protests by Congress and TMC members outside the court where they have been produced. The protestors were lathi-charged as they tried to get inside the court. Protesters, some of them weeping, chanted slogans in anger. Many broke past police lines of security and rushed into the court. Cops used batons on them. Meanwhile Sen had sent a letter to the CBI, when he was underground, listing 22 politicians and influential people of "misusing" him to make money. Included on the list are senior and national-level leaders.
