Conveying his dissatisfaction with the preparations made for the Commonwealth Games, Dave Currie, New Zealand's Chef de Mission, slammed the authorities on Tuesday for 'not having done enough'. Emphasising that the developmental work for the sporting extravaganza had been facing chronic delays, Currie argued that the construction work in the Indian capital should have started sooner. Currie also urged event's organisers to pull up their socks.
