Prez polls: Pranab avows to protect Constitution of India

Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has said that if he is elected as the president of India, good governance and protection of the nation as per the Constitution would be his sole and utmost priority. Speaking to the mediapersons at Mirati, his hometown in Birbhum region of West Bengal, he acknowledged his gratitude to all those who have assured support to him in the electoral collage for the country's top most post. Campaigning for himself in various parts of the state, Mukherjee appealed to all the political fraternity that this time there is no political agenda other than good governance.
