Rahul defends PM against opposition remarks

Rahul Gandhi, general secretary of ruling Congress party on Wednesday defended Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's leadership qualities against opposition criticism that he was a 'weak leader'. Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate LK Advani on Tuesday retorted that Manmohan Singh was the weakest prime minister in India's history. He said that Singh was responsible for the country's strident stand against terrorism.
