Raju gets bail; doctors say he is unwell

B Ramalinga Raju, the tainted founder of Satyam Computer was released on bail in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The Andhra Pradesh High Court granted bail to Raju, accused of forging the accounts of Satyam, for urgent medical attention. Doctors at the city's Nizam Institute of Medical Science said Raju suffers from an adverse type of Hepatitis C virus and the treatment would run for at least four months. Last year in April, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said it had filed charges against nine people including Raju for alleged involvement in accounting fraud at the outsourcing firm.
