Ruling parties back in Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya

All the three states of Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya have chosen the ruling coalition back to power. Delivering a humiliating blow to the Congress, Tripura's ruling Left Front on Thursday stormed back to power in the state for the fifth consecutive term. The left front has secured absolute majority by winning 31 seats in the 60-member Assembly and is currently leading in 16 other seats while it is headed for a two thirds majority.
