Salman Khurshid confirms Company Law violations in IPL

Amidst talks about financial irregularities in IPL, Minister of Corporate Affairs, Salman Khurshid, on Saturday affirmed to major Company Law violations in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament. Khurshid confirmed these violations at an event organised by the Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Chennai. Lalit Modi, the former chairman of the IPL has been accused of being involved in a wide range of corrupt deeds including bribery and tax evasion.
