SC grants bail to Nupur Talwar
Updated on Sept 17, 2012 03:52 pm IST
The Supreme Court today granted bail to Nupur Talwar, an accused in the 2008 Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case. However, Nupur will only be released on September 25 from Dasna jail. She has been in judicial custody for four months. The CBI had opposed her bail arguing that Nupur could influence the 13 prosecution witnesses. During its last hearing, the apex court had directed the CBI to complete by September 17 the examination of 13 "material witnesses" in the case.
