Secret tunnel discovered inside an Indian fort

Recent excavation work undertaken at the famous Amer Fort in Rajasthan state has revealed a one and a half kilometer long secret tunnel connecting the fort to the neighbouring Jaigarh Fort. The 16th-century Amer Fort, a few miles outside state capital Jaipur, is a hot tourist spot. Those involved with the excavation work said they faced numerous problems, including battling poisonous snakes, scorpions and bats.
