Security forces nab five militants in Manipur

A combined team of personnel from the paramilitary Assam Rifles three battalions and state police, in a joint search operation have nabbed seven cadres of different militant outfits in Thoubal region of Manipur. After further interrogation, the arrested cadres disclosed that they were working under the command of an IED expert of Revolutionary People's Front. Jhalajit stated that the battalions 27, 28, and 42 of the Assam Rifles took part in these operations. The search ops resulted in recovery of huge cache of arms and ammunition.
