Sikh protesters block rail traffic in Punjab

Intensifying protests against Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh, chief of Sikh sect Dera Sacha Sauda, Sikh protesters brought rail traffic in Punjab to a halt on Wednesday. Protestors at the Amritsar and Abohar railway stations demanding the immediate arrest of the Dera chief held up a number of trains. A large number of passengers were stranded at various stations in the state due to disruption in the rail traffic.
