Snowfall in Srinagar is attracting large numbers of tourists and locals to its scenic hill towns. Snowfall has added to the beauty in the Kashmir Valley, as scores of tourists have been lured from across the country and abroad. Snowfall here is regarded as a boon for the tourism and hospitality sectors as the influx of visitors translates into more business. For many, the state is a holiday paradise especially during the winter. Snow is therefore a rarity, and hill stations in states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are very popular with tourists who are eager to enjoy it whenever they can.
