State govt builds homes for tribals in Maoist hit Purulia

The state government along with the forest department of West Bengal sanctioned concrete houses called 'Gitanjali' for poor landless tribals under a housing development scheme in Maoist hit Baghmundi block of West Bengal. The ongoing construction work will provide shelter and security to the poor locals from the rebels in the area. Authorities claim to put best efforts for providing homes to the landless people. Locals are grateful that the government has come up to their aide.
