Three-member team visits diarrhoea-hit villages in Orissa

A three-member central team on Tuesday visited diarrhoea-hit villages in Orissa where the disease has already claimed 23 lives. The team led by joint director of National Institute if Communicable Diseases, Uma Chawala held meetings with senior district administration officers and doctors in affected villages of Bhawanipatna and Lanjigarh blocks in Kalahandi district of the state. The team is expected to submit its report to the government of India.
