TN provincial legislature erupts over Sri Lankan issue

Tamil Nadu state's assembly witnessed uproarious scenes on Tuesday as regional legislators raised a furor over the Sri Lankan issue. The legislators, belonging to various political parties, competed with each other to raise the issue in the assembly during the zero hour. The legislators were demanding India's intervention to resolve the issue. The legislators also staged a walkout from the assembly saying they were not permitted to raise the issue.
