Troop withdrawal vital for peace says Mufti

People's Democratic Party patron and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Muhammad Sayeed on Saturday said that withdrawal of troops from the troubled region was vital for restoration of peace. Talking to reportes on the sidelines of a public rally in Srigufwara in Anantnag district, Sayeed said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had assured him of a phased pull out of troops from the region.
