TRS leaders delay their resignations over Telangana tussle

Legislators of Telangana Rashtriya Samiti (TRS), the forum spearheading separate Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh, decided to delay their resignations from the state legislature at the request of Joint Action Committee (JAC). On Friday, TRS chief K Chandrasekhara announced mass resignations of his party's MPs and legislators to protest the terms of reference of the Srikrishna panel looking into the demand for statehood to Telangana.
