A local theatre group in West Bengal is conducting awareness campaign to spread knowledge about swine flu among school children using ventriloquists. A brainchild of Dilip Mondal, the voluntary awareness campaigns are being conducted by Dhumketu Puppet Theatre mostly in school campuses. Using ventriloquism, an act of stagecraft in which a person gives voice to dummies, Mondal has chalked out a campaign, wherein his different puppets, Govindo and Bhuto, talk to the people about the causes and symptoms of swine flu.
