Vijender and I consumed small quantities of heroin: Ram Singh

In a major development in the drug haul case, Boxer Ram Singh has now admitted that both he and Olympic medallist Vijender Singh took drugs, which was given to them by NRI Anup Singh Kahlon, but thinking they were food supplements. Ram Singh said that he and Vijender had met drug dealer Anoop Singh Kahlon 3-4 times since December. Vijender, is likely to be questioned by the Punjab Police in connection with the mutli-crore drug haul. Meanwhile, Kahlon reportedly attempted to commit suicide in prison and had to be hospitalised. Kahlon has been arrested in the Rs 130 crore drug bust in Mohali following a raid by the Punjab Police on Thursday night on a house outside Chandigah.
