Even as preparations are on in full swing in Meghalaya with political parties campaigning vigorously for the upcoming elections, youth in the region remain largely cynical. Elections will be held in Meghalya on March 3 and the results will be out on March 8. According to the youth they have lost faith in elections, as broken promises remain a tradition with the politicians.
